The house is surrounded by extensive English-cottage style gardens and there is a small apple orchard. The house is a 5 minute walk to beautiful Deering lake where you can swim, fish (including ice fish) boat or water-ski. Walking paths ribbon the property and the several hundred acres of conservation land that extend beyond the house. Hike the various nearby mountains or golf just 10 minutes away. View the fall colors of the giant sugar maples while relaxing on the screened porch. X-country ski out the backdoor or downhill ski/snowboard at one of two family friendly resorts 10 and 15 minutes away.
