Driving Directions from Aéroport Montpellier Méditerranée
This is our preferred route to St-Bresson from the airport. You can also follow the Michelin recommended route.
As you exit the airport, turn right. At the first roundabout, take the second exit, toward Pérols. At the next roundabout, take the first exit toward Montpellier Centre Ville.
When you see the Hotel Mercure on your left, look for the signs for Ganges-Lodève. Follow the signs for Ganges through the complicated streets of downtown Montpellier.
Follow the D986 out of Montpellier, toward Ganges. You will be on this road, which passes through the chapparal-style garrigues, for approximately 30 km.
After you pass through the towns of Saint Bauzille de Putois and Laroque, you will enter the town of Ganges.
At the first roundabout in Ganges, take the third exit (toward SuperU and Le Vigan). Go to next roundabout (there is a large waterwheel in the middle of the roundabout), take the third exit and pass over the Hérault River on a narrow bridge toward the town of Cazilhac.
At the end of the bridge, turn right and follow the road about 5- 10 km until you reach the sign for the town of St-Laurent-Le-Minier.
Turn right on the D110, crossing the river again at the bathing area. Follow this road until you reach the bottom of the hill and signs for St. Bresson. Turn left and ascend a spectacular winding road for about 7 km. The road is quite steep and narrow, so be alert for vehicles coming the other way.
At the crest of the hill, turn right into St-Bresson. Les Lis is on your right, just before the plaza. There is a stone 2-car garage on the left, opposite the house, where you can pull in and park.

Getting Here
St-Bresson is located in the the southern Gard, a department of the Languedoc-Roussillon region. St-Bresson is situated just west of Provence, an hour north of the city of Montpellier and the beaches along the Mediterranean coast, and an hour south of the Alps.
By Air
We recommend flying into Aéroport Montpellier Méditerranée, on the southern edge of Montpellier and only about an hour's drive from St-Bresson.It's also possible to fly into Aéroport Marseille Provence in Marseille, but the drive to St-Bresson is considerably llonger.
From the United States, the most economical airline choices seem to be Delta or Air France, connecting through Paris. If you're flying from London (Stansted), you can get startlingly cheap flights to Montpellier or Nîmes on RyanAir.
By Car
There are many car rental companies with offices in Aéroport Montpellier Méditerranée. Fortunately, the airport is small and the cars are a short walk from the terminals. Here is a car hire search and a partial list of car rental companies at the airport:

ADA
Argus Car Hire (often the cheapest)
Avis
National
Europcar
Sixt location voiture
Hertz
